How does it work?
extura.com is an advertising service provider for the UK market. Extura.com provides a
search facility that enables users to find local services (e.g. plumbers). This search
facility can be fully and easily integrated into your site free of charge. When a new
advertiser purchases an advert after visiting your site you earn commission (starting
at 40%). The advantage to the advertiser is that their advert will be shown on multiple
publisher websites, which makes it more appealing and better value for money than
advertising elsewhere. With adverts prices from £20 and your commission rate of
40% you can quickly begin to generate a new and significant source of revenue/income.
As a bonus, for every publisher that signs up as a result of visiting your site, you
will earn commission on every advert they sell! This rate of commission currently stands
at 5%.
It is in your interest to promote the service to both potential publishers as well as
advertisers, the more publishers that join, the more people will be looking for services
in their area, which in turn makes it more favourable for advertisers to advertise.
How do I set this up?
It is extremely simple to integrate the extura system into your site by using our Setup
Wizard. You can generate the HTML code required to add this service to your website. The
extura search facility can be fully integrated into your site using frames or for the more
advanced sites using XML (sample scripts are provided for ASP, CFML and PHP), allowing the
search facility to keep the look and feel of your site. You also decide which categories
you want your users to be able to search in.
The extura system is maintained from our site and is constantly being updated and
improved. It is very simple for advertisers to create their adverts using our Advert
Wizard, so even the Net Novice finds it easy to use.
There various Local services available for searches. The current categories
are: Architectural Service, Builder, Builders' Merchant, Carpenter, Decorator, Electrician, Fencing, Flooring Supplier, Hire Service, Plumber, Plumbers' Merchant, Roofing Service, Tile Supplier.
By giving your users an extra FREE service - allowing them to find services in their
